With a terse, powerful sound and soulful manner, it seemed that Bert Robinson was going to become a force to be reckoned with in Urban Contemporary circles. His LP No more cold nights included the stunning single Heart of gold, which reached number five on the R&B chart. Robinson had previously done a duet with Peggi Blu, All the way with you. But after his 1989 LP, which featured the skills of Craig T. Cooper, he disappeared from the scene.
