Broomfield was born Alfred Broomfield in Gary, Indiana. Broomfield comes from a large family which also comprised of sister Dee Dee Wilde (Diana) and brother Eugene Wilde (Ron). Along with his brothers and sisters he was part of a family project called Simplicious (a Donald Robinson prod) which scored a massive club in 1984 with Let her feel it. He didn't start his solo-career until 1987 with his debut album simply entitled Broomfield. A second album was released in 1991 on the N'effect label, since then Broomfield has maintained a low profile. |
