After releasing the one and only Sugar Babes album, former members Stacye Irvin and Kimiko Whittaker became a duo. They signed to MCA Records and released their first and only debut album, "Paradise" in 1990. Their first single, "Wait For Me" had moderate success on the R&B charts , their next single, "R.U. Available" has no succes. According to the Isle of Deserted Pop Stars website, they were dropped from their record label. Kimiko planned to release her own solo album in 1992, but sadly, it was never released. Just like the Sugar Babes, Stacye and Kimiko had faded into obscurity.
