Vertical Hold is a three-piece band that consisted of Angie B. Stone, Willie Bruno and David Bright. Willie and David used to play in High School groups together, while Angie used to sing with a group called Sequence. After signing to A & M they worked under the production of and with Herb Alpert. A matter of time as the first release in 1993. 1995, saw the groups second and final album which was entitled Head first. The album was in various studio's across the U.S. Vertical Hold is often compared with the UK based band Loose Ends. The band split up after their second album.
